To mark International Scoliosis Awareness Month, this episode featured Ms Ruby Wong and Ms Natasha Wong of the Hong Kong Scoliosis Awareness Group, together with Dr Adam Lau, Orthopaedic Specialist representing the Hong Kong Musculoskeletal Health Foundation.
They discussed adolescent scoliosis, treatment options and patient stories, highlighting the importance of early detection and timely intervention to slow progression and reduce the need for surgery.
